2016 Annual Appeal

Guilford Art Center announces its 2016 Annual Appeal, an annual fundraising effort to support the GAC’s mission of “Creating Art & Community.” The public is invited to support the Annual Appeal through monetary donations, which can be made online (click here) or directly to the GAC office via mail or in person.

Guilford Art Center is the primary resource for arts education and enjoyment on the shoreline and in greater Connecticut, through classes in the visual arts, gallery exhibitions, a year-round shop of unique works by American artisans, and events that creatively engage and inspire. The Center gathers and strengthens the community, fostering self-expression, ideas-sharing and common understanding. Now more than ever, the wellness benefits of the arts can make a positive difference in the life of our community.

The Center’s many programs, for those of all ages and abilities, are only possible with the support of donors, who value the arts and education, and help bring these benefits to our community. Highlights of the newer offerings include a popular Unified Arts class, for youth students with and without intellectual disabilities working together. A similar program is now planned for adults; GAC donors are crucial to extending the welcoming reach of the arts ever wider.

Guilford Art Center is located at 411 Church Street, Guilford, Connecticut (exit 58 off I-95). For more information call 203-453-5947.
