Guilford Art Center Seeks Artists for Annual Holiday Sale of Fine Craft
The Guilford Art Center seeks artists in all fine craft media to apply to be included in Artistry, the Center’s 30th Annual Holiday Sale of Fine Craft and Art. Artistry will take place October 20 through December 31, 2008. Artists from the United States and Canada working in a wide variety of media are invited to apply, including those creating pottery, glass, wood, jewelry, metal, clothing, weaving, fine art, paper and book arts, and toys.

Applications are available by contacting the Guilford Art Center at 203-453-5947, or you may download one here. All work must be handmade in the USA and be of high quality. Jury fee is $15. Submit slides or photos, a minimum of five, with SASE for return of slides, or actual sample work, with funds for return shipping. Application deadline is August 1, 2008.

GUILFORD CRAFT EXPO 2007
The Annual Guilford Craft Expo is a nationally juried show of fine American craft, held outdoors, under tents on the Guilford Green in Guilford, Connecticut. Approximately 175 artists exhibit in all craft media including baskets, ceramics, fiber, glass, leather, metal, jewelry, paper, mixed media, sculpture, furniture, wood and more. Teaching Positions
Teaching positions are available for semester long classes and weekend workshops. Consideration is given to those with prior teaching experience and to curriculum that complements the programs at the Center.
