Guilford Art Center Publishes Cookbook of Artful Recipes and Images

Creative recipes and sumptuous photographs come together in the new cookbook Arts & Eats: Recipes by Artists and Friends of the Guilford Art Center. This new volume features a combination of intriguing, artist-contributed dishes with elegant images by photographer Joanne Schmaltz.

Arts & Eats includes more than 120 recipes, from appetizers to desserts. The publication is also a feast for the eyes, lavishly illustrated with photographs by Schmaltz, of Guilford. Schmaltz was commissioned to create these photographs especially for the book. Her precise black and white images create an artistic counterpoint to the recipes, and help make Arts & Eats as much a delight for the eyes as a manual for the kitchen.

Arts & Eats: Recipes by Artists and Friends of the Guilford Art Center is available for sale at the Shop at Guilford Art Center, the Guilford Food Center and other shoreline locations. Cost is $23.95.
