Faculty Art Work Featured in Exhibit at Guilford Art Center
Guilford Art Center is pleased to announce an exhibit of works in all media by its faculty artists. GAC FACULTY features works by artists who have taught at the Center from 2008 to the present. It will take place in the Center's Mill Gallery, March 12 - April 10, 2010.
"We are excited to be using the Mill Gallery to showcase art made by GAC faculty members," says Program Director Maureen Belden. "The chance for the public to see the quality and breadth of their work puts the Art Center in the best possible light. Visitors will doubtless be impressed, inspired and, ideally, motivated in their own creativity." Works on view will include painting, drawing, pottery, glass, weaving, jewelry, stone carving and more.
The opening reception for GAC FACULTY is Friday, March 12, 5-7pm. The opening is free and open to the public. Admission to the exhibit is free. Hours for the Mill Gallery are Monday through Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 11am-4pm. For more information contact the Guilford Art Center at 203-453-5947.
