Seeking Teen Volunteers for GAC’s Summer Youth Program

If you are 14 years or older, we invite you to volunteer with GAC’s summer youth program. The program runs for 9 weeks, June 20-August 19. Assistance is needed helping instructors and students with projects in the classroom, supervising an outdoor break, and more. Volunteers are requested to commit to a week of classes at a time in the morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (1-4pm). GAC is happy to verify community service hours for this work. If interested, please contact Kate Klein, Summer Youth Program Coordinator: kklein@guilfordartcenter.org.

Call for Artists

The submission deadline for Guilford Art Center‘s Biennial Ceramics Exhibition – juried by esteemed ceramicist, David R. McDonald – is approaching! This exhibition is open to all works which use clay as the primary medium, both utilitarian and sculptural. The exhibition will present the variety of ways contemporary ceramics furthers craft traditions, explores innovative approaches, and serves as a medium for creating compelling new art works.
