Over the course of the weekend students will make a pair of flat jaw tongs and a pair of bolt jaw tongs. If time allows, more challenging patterns will also be available. Students will explore the use of anvil geometry as well as other tooling to create repeatable symmetrical forging. The tools produced in this class will teach the methods and skills needed to expand the toolkit of any blacksmith. Fee payable with tuition $43.00.
