PAPER QUILLING FOR THE HOLIDAYS WORKSHOP
Lynn Sheft
Saturday, November 12
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Create special holiday greeting cards, ornaments and gift tags with paper quilling. It is an art form that employs strips of paper that are wrapped around a quilling tool and then pressed into various shapes. It is believed that quilling was first practiced in Ancient Egypt and then was popular in Re-naissance and 18th century Europe. Colonists brought quilling with them to America, and it is en-joying a resurgence in popularity today. Try your hand in time for the holiday gift-giving season and create pictures that may be framed or adorn keepsake boxes. Fee payable with tuition $24.00.
