PAPER QUILLING SPRING FLOWERS WORKSHOP
Lynn Sheft
Saturday, May 7
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

The month of May brings spring flowers and you will learn how to quill flowers and leaves suitable for a Mother’s Day card or framed picture. Paper quilling is an art form that employs strips of paper that are wrapped around a quilling tool, glued and then pressed in to various shapes. It is believed that quilling was first practiced in Ancient Egypt and then was popular in Renaissance France and Italy as well as 18th century England and Europe. Colonists brought quilling with them to America. No prior quilling experience necessary. If you need magnification, remember to bring it with you. Fee payable with tuition $24.00 (Includes 8 quilling tools and 600 strips in a variety of colors.) Note: If you completed “Quilling for the Holidays,” you are exempt from the materials fee. Please bring your kit to class.

Tuition $52.00
Members $46.80
