PAPER QUILLING WORKSHOP
Lynn Sheft
Saturday, March 11
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Paper quilling is an art form that employs strips of paper wrapped around a tool and pressed in to various shapes. These are then glued down to make shapes and images to create pictures that may be used in frames, greeting cards, and more. It is believed that quilling was first practiced in ancient Egypt and was popular in Renaissance and 18th century Europe. Colonists brought quilling with them to America. It is enjoying a resurgence today, because it is easy to master. Students will learn the technique of rolling the strips and creating various shapes. Material fee includes 8 quilling tools and 600 strips in a variety of colors. Fee payable with tuition $24.00

Tuition $52.00
Members $46.80
