Art Journaling Workshop (online)

This workshop is not about scrapbooking. It’s about finding another way of self-expression using multiple layers of fabrics, washes, textured papers, music sheets and maps. These personal journals can be used for a myriad of things; dreams, travel, reflection, memoirs, etc. ;it’s an ongoing process. Using text is welcome.

Mixed Media Collage Visual Journaling Workshop (online)
Saturday Feb 6, 10:00am-1:00pm
Journaling is not only beautiful, but therapeutic. Mixed media is completely freeing and a simple distraction from the everyday grind. If you love expressive art this is the class for you! We will create a simple journal while you are learning collage, mixed media techniques, and pen work.

The Possibilities of Polymer Clay (online)
4 Mondays beginning February 8, 6:30-8:30pm
Learn about the different types of polymer clay available, how to care for it, how to mix clays, how to form the clay and to bake it too. The instructor will demonstrate techniques and show finished examples. If you have used polymer clay previously this could be a great time to reconnect with the medium.

Youth Class: Earth, Sky & Oceans in Mixed Media (online)
4 Tuesdays beginning February 9, 4:30-5:30pm
Open to ages 8+. Students will use a variety of materials (watercolor paints, oil pastels and markers) to individually and in combination in an exploration of our earth. Create drawings and paintings using techniques specific to the various materials. Each week will explore a different theme. Students can use a teacher suggestion or pursue their own ideas. The last class will be used to create a 30-dimensional work incorporating elements from all three natural habitats.
