Craft Expo 2021 is scheduled to be held July 16, 17, and 18. We are delaying the application process until December in order to have the most accurate information to make a decision about holding the event. Please stay in touch!

Guilford Art Center is looking for unique, high quality craft work in a variety of media including: basketry, clay, glass, leather, metal and non-metal jewelry, wearable and non-wearable fiber, leather, mixed media, metal and wood. In addition, applications in fine art categories such as photography, painting, printmaking, paper arts and sculpture are accepted. Any other original artwork not listed will also be accepted in the “other” category.

All work submitted for application must be original and made in North America. It must be created by hand or with the use of appropriate tools, by an individual artist and/or with help from a limited number of assistants/apprentices. Works must be of high quality, be well-designed, and convey artistic originality and vision. See prospectus and application for complete eligibility requirements:

Emerging Artist Opportunity. Apply to become part of Craft Expo Emerging Artist program. Acceptance into our show will provide a pathway for emerging artists into a competitive fine craft show. Emerging Artists 2021 for more information and eligibility. Application and booth fees have been reduced.


Finding Us: The Guilford Green is located one mile South of Exit 58 of I-95. It is bordered by Broad, Park, Boston and Whitfield Streets. Here is the Google map link for directions to the main entrance at 33 Whitfield Street.

Parking: Free parking and shuttle bus service is available at Exit 58 of I-95 at the commuter lots or Adams Middle School on Rt. 77 (233 Church St.). On site parking is available at St. George’s Church, 33 Whitfield Street, for $10/day, or you can find free on-street parking at other spots around town.

Getting There by Train: The Guilford train station is at 325 Old Whitfield Street. It is .8 miles or a 16-minute walk to the main entrance at 33 Whitfield Street. Here is the Google map link.
