All the new classes and workshops for adults can be found on our website. Summer is a great time to try something new and meet new people as well. If you aren’t traveling, make GAC a part of your staycation!
Opening Reception this Friday for New Gallery Exhibition
The Guilford High School Teen Art Club, in conjunction with Guilford Art Center, is presenting an exhibition on May 26 – June 11 highlighting the work and creativity of local teen artists. This exhibition, called The Third Place, will embrace the concept that a space which is not work, school or home – but a third place – is instrumental in fostering innovation of thinking, creativity, and establishing a sense of belonging. The exhibition will explore how the significance of the arts, and the communities that are built around them, provide young people with the ability to grow and to thrive. Please come celebrate these young and inspiring artists at a reception this Friday, 5-7pm. It’s free and open to the community.

Spring Workshops
POTTERY JAM WORKSHOP; SESSION B
Saturday, May 26, 6:00-9:00pm
Instructor: Jamine Ahern
Try some beginner hand building techniques at the table and see how pottery is made on the wheel. If you’ve wanted to try pottery but didn’t know where to start, this is a great introductory session to try. We will play some music and spend the evening having fun, laughing and creating with no expectations! Fee payable with tuition $15. Tuition $55; GAC members $49.50

Ready for Craft Expo?! It’s around the corner!
The 64th Annual Craft Expo will return to the Guilford Green July 14-16. We rely on the support of our wonderful volunteers to help make everything run so well.
