Mixed Media Art Class at GAC

Explore techniques of working with air dry clay along with other materials. Children will be able to make a variety of exciting clay projects while learning various hand-building techniques including pinch pots, slab and coil methods. Children will have a chance to paint and embellish their projects using a variety of natural and craft materials. We will also explore color mixing, paper mache techniques, and paper collage along the way. Some projects will include critter houses, magical glowing fairy trees, treasure bowls and autumn forest creatures. Please note: no class on 10/31.
