Guilford Art Center’s weaving studio is a warm and welcoming space. There are 16 floor looms; seven are four harness looms ranging in weaving width from 22 inches to 60 inches. Nine or 8 harness looms 22 inches to 40 inches in width. Warping boards, reeds, ball winder, swift, bobbin winder, assorted shuttles and small equipment needed for weaving are available for student use. The studio has yard for purchase for samplers.
Guilford Art Center is located at 411 Church Street (Route 77) in Guilford, CT, along the Connecticut shoreline.
Our campus is conveniently located off I-95, exit 58, approximately 15 minutes north of New Haven and only minutes away from the historic Guilford Green.
Look for our sign directly across from the Guilford Police Station; follow the long entranceway to back to our colorful school, shop and gallery buildings.
