SOMETHING’S MISSING – A COMMUNITY EXHIBITION WITH RESIDENT CERAMIC ARTIST CASEY POTTS

Open to GAC Ceramics Students and Wet Clay Works Members

Casey Potts will present her final exhibition as Guilford Art Center’s ceramic artist-in-residence, Something’s Missing. The exhibition will explore absence, interruption, and the ways in which community can fill spaces we didn’t realize were empty.

Over the course of her two-year residency, Casey has become an integral part of our local ceramics community. Through creating, teaching, and building relationships in the studio, she has found deep artistic and personal support. Something’s Missing reflects on that experience while inviting our ceramics community to celebrate and share in that growth through exhibiting work alongside one another.

In that spirit, Casey invites artists from GAC’s ceramics program, as well as artists from New Haven’s Wet Clay Works, to participate in this celebration of the transformations that are possible with community support.
