Schedule a birthday party for an adult or child at Guilford Art Center. Bring your imagination for an art experience that we can design to match your interest. Our professional instructors can create any type of party based on what we teach at the school.
Parties are scheduled for kids ages 5+ in our studio spaces for 1.5 hours, which allows time for the art activity, cake or pizza, and presents. Ideas for activity themes could be Aliens, Planets,Fairy Princesses, Dragons, Under the Sea, Safari Animals, Woodland Creatures — or choose your own!
GAC parties are not just for kids! We can work with you to plan a party that matches your interest (like painting, ceramics, drawing, mixed media and so much more) and introduces all your guests to a creative art project. Your get-together will be a lot of fun and you’ll end up with a work of art. The cost is $35 per person for 2 hours; material fees are not included. To start your reservation, fill out the form below and a GAC staff member will respond with more information.
GAC kids birthday parties are typically held on Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons. All reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance but contacting us with one or more months’ notice can better guarantee your desired spot.
We can accommodate a maximum of 12 children. Your payment of $275 is due in full at time of the booking.
GAC provides a party space and all art project supplies. Host must provide and arrange the setup and cleanup of all refreshments, plates, cups, napkins and desired decorations. There is a small kitchen area and a refrigerator in the school building where you can keep the cake and ice cream that you bring until it’s time to make a wish!
Children should bring a smock or dress appropriately for an art activity that could be messy. Host may arrive 20 minutes prior to the party for the setup.
Adult host(s) must be present for the full duration of the party and may not leave the premises until all guests are picked up by a guardian. However, we request that guests’ parents plan to drop off their children and not stay at the party, in order to have adequate space for all party activities.
