The art of beading is rich in tradition and history, and designs have been used as tools for communication, function and adornment Our classes primarily focus on styles and techniques for making jewelry, and can incorporate a range of materials like metal, cords, glass and ceramic beads and pearls.
Guilford Art Center is located at 411 Church Street (Route 77) in Guilford, CT, along the Connecticut shoreline.
Our campus is conveniently located off I-95, exit 58, approximately 15 minutes north of New Haven and only minutes away from the historic Guilford Green.
Look for our sign directly across from the Guilford Police Station; follow the long entranceway to back to our colorful school, shop and gallery buildings.
