Painting Art Class at GAC

People are taking online painting lessons since the pandemic. But what happens when the painting needs help and you need advice? This for-all-levels class is what you might ask for: problem solving! Learn new skills and color combinations, explore realism, narrative, and abstracting away from a subject composition. Choose photos from your cell phone about your life and print them. In class, we start "alla prima" and we fill the canvas expressively at the beginning to capture ideas. Then we consider more slowly, and manipulate areas. With the help of a teacher guide you can learn to make choices that will give you rewarding results in painting, drawing, image-making and collage. Please note: no class 01/20.
