Doors Open This Friday at 10:00am!
Like Craft Expo? You’ll love Guilford Art Center’s annual Holiday Expo, which opens this Friday, October 28. The Shop at Guilford Art Center doubles in size, filling the shop and gallery with extraordinary work from over 200 American artists, makers and designers. Gift categories include ceramics, pottery, glass, jewelry, homewares, clothing, fiber, ornaments, accessories, toys, specialty foods, stationery, leather goods and more.
October 28 – November 4 is GAC Members week. All GAC members receive 15% off all purchases in the Shop. Get your shopping done early and save! Members receive 10% through the rest of the event.
Thursday, November 3 is the Opening Reception from 5-7 pm. We’ll enjoy holiday cheer and the start to a festive holiday season at GAC. Free & open to the community.

Soup for Good TO GO
Tickets available for purchase next week. Look for an email announcement with link information. Help support two important shoreline non-profit organizations at the annual Soup for Good TO GO event on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Tickets are $40 and include a choice of 3 homemade soups, bread, and wine. Participants will get to choose from hundreds of unique handmade bowls, made in the ceramic studio by GAC pottery instructors and students.
New Fiber Arts Workshop Offered in December
Felted Santa Workshop
Instructor: Amy Macy
2 Saturdays, December 10 &17
10:00AM – 1:00 PM
Learn to sculpt wool through the process of needle felting. This workshop is for beginners, but previous students are welcome. You’ll learn about proportions, shapes and forms and the technique of needle felting well constructed pieces to create an old world, quaint, Santa.
Fee payable with tuition $25.00. All supplies provided.
