In Good Hands Opens in Gallery, New Photography Workshops, Dogwood Blooms

New Exhibit Opens in the Gallery

The worlds of art and healthcare have been intertwined for thousands of years, with recorded medical illustrations dating as far back as the 3rd century BCE.

Through time, the realm of healthcare has fascinated notable artists such as Leonardo, Rembrandt, Diego Rivera, Botong Francisco, as well as numerous others – but how does art inspire those working in the field of healthcare? How do their abilities to observe creatively in their jobs translate to their art? How do they engage with art’s joyful, therapeutic benefits?

Guilford Art Center is exploring these questions through a celebration of artwork by these heralded community members.

GAC’s proceeds from sales will be donated to a charity supporting medical needs in Ukraine.

In Good Hands will run August 10th – September 4th.
Our gallery is open 7 days a week and is free to the public.
Monday -Saturday, 10am-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm
