Special Shopping Day on Saturday, May 8 from 10am-4pm
Meet local artists Yvonne Oxley and Lauren Mullaney at The Shop on May 8. Both CT artists will be set up to sell their work which make PERFECT Mother’s Day presents!
Meet visiting artist Lauren Mullaney, who honed her metalsmithing skills at the CT School of Jewelry Art and now has her own studio in her hometown of West Hartford, CT where she lives with her beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback, Maasai. Her jewelry line includes bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings crafted from brass, sterling silver and stone. Designed to wear dressy or every day.
Meet visiting artist Yvonne Oxley from Bridgeport, CT and explore her merchandise line that includes 30 different varieties of natural soap along with lotions, geode bath bombs (they’re so cool!), beard oils, sugar scrubs and body butters. Eight years ago, Yvonne wasn’t comfortable with using the expensive steroid creams the dermatologist prescribed for her son’s eczema. “I knew there had to be a better way” she said, “so I researched and found natural soap could help. The relief was almost immediate.”

The Great Give is On!
On May 4 & 5, GAC will participate in The Great Give, a community-wide fundraiser hosted by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. Any advance gifts received before May 4th are eligible for matching funds from The Great Give incentive pool. We would LOVE to win one of these prizes, thanks to your generosity.  Any donation you make helps us so much.
