Introduction to the Hand Forged Blade Workshop: Session C
Saturday-Sunday, Dec 16-17
Instructor: Aidan Garrity

This workshop covers the basics of forging, grinding, heat treating and sharpening of a small utility knife. The instructor will discuss fit and finish, overall knife design, how to sharpen and care for knives and hot to begin making knives on your own. Students should expect to forge several blades over the weekend, and get at least one to the point of a usable knife. Tuition $350; Members $315.

Handwoven Cotton Potholder Workshop
Sunday, Dec 17, 1:00-5:00pm
Instructor: Claudia Mathison
The classic potholder is popular again and can be made with a fun variety of contemporary colors and patterns. Spend a relaxing afternoon of weaving and gift making.
Fee payable with tuition $20. Tuition $52. Member tuition: $46.80.
