Dear Guilford Art Center Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that instructor Claudia Mathison passed away over the holidays. Claudia was one of our longest-serving faculty members, talented in a wide variety of media. She was well-known here for her sewing and fiber classes, and she also sold her beautiful works in our shop.
Claudia was perhaps most beloved for her many creative and engaging classes for children, from pre-school to middle-school aged, during summers and throughout the year. She will be missed very much by all of us here.
