Do good while enjoying something delicious! Join the Guilford Art Center’s annual Soup for Good TO GO event on Sunday, November 23, 2025, and help support two vital local nonprofits—the Guilford Art Center and the Guilford Food Bank.
This much-loved community tradition offers a comforting meal to take home—and the chance to choose a one-of-a-kind handmade bowl created by GAC potters. Each bowl is a work of art, made with care by instructors and students in the Center’s ceramics studio.
For $40 per ticket, participants will receive a choice of three homemade soups, plus bread and wine, all packed to go. Guests can pick up their food and select their handmade bowl on Sunday, November 23, from 2:00–3:30pm at Guilford Art Center. Tables will also be available for those who wish to stay and enjoy their meal on-site.
“Our potters put their hearts into this event,” says Maureen Belden, Executive Director of Guilford Art Center. “Each bowl represents creativity and community. By participating, you’re supporting the arts and helping local families in need—it’s a beautiful way to give back.”
While you’re there, be sure to visit the Holiday Expo, open from 12:00–5:00 pm, where you can shop handcrafted gifts made by over 150+ local and regional artists.
Tickets must be purchased in advance by Monday, November 17 at www.guilfordartcenter.org. Proceeds will directly benefit both the Guilford Art Center, which provides arts education and outreach to the community, and the Guilford Food Bank, which provides essential nutritional support to local residents in need.
This event is made possible through the generous support of The Fresh Market, Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club, G Café, and Stephanie Donegan-Dietz and Betty Ann Donegan.
