New gallery exhibition opens tomorrow!
We are pleased to present Something’s Missing: A Community Exhibition with ceramic artist and Guilford Art Center Artist-in-Residence Casey Potts. The exhibition feature work by recent Guilford Art Center ceramics students and members of Wet Clay Works in New Haven, and will be on view in the Center’s Gallery from August 12 – 30, 2026. Something’s Missing explores absence, interruption and the ways in which community can fill spaces we didn’t realize were empty. All invited! Free public opening reception Sunday, August 16 from 2:00 – 4:00pm to celebrate the opening of “Something’s Missing.”
Casey Potts is a ceramic artist whose work explores the mystery, whimsy, and hidden beauty of the ocean. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Ceramics, Potts has spent more than a decade working with clay.
The Gallery is open 7 days a week, Mon-Sat 10am-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm.
