Celebrate the start of the holiday shopping season at Guilford Art Center’s Holiday Expo opening reception on Friday, November 13, from 5:00-7:00 pm. The free community event features festive refreshments and offers a first look at a holiday market bringing together more than 175 artists and makers for a celebration of handmade gifts and creative finds.
Looking for gifts that are personal, creative and one of a kind? Housed in the Center’s gallery and shop space, visitors can browse an eclectic collection of jewelry, ceramics, glass, textiles, wood, ornaments and artful accents. Each purchase is an opportunity to give something distinctive while supporting the independent artists who make it.
The market features work by local and regional artists, along with a special showcase by the Lyme Artisans Guild. Whether shoppers are searching for a thoughtful host gift, a beautiful piece for the home or a special present for someone, Holiday Expo offers plenty to discover.
GAC members save while shopping for the holidays. Members receive 10% off purchases throughout Holiday Expo, with a special 15% discount on November 13-15 and December 4-6.
