Discover handcrafted holiday and Christmas gift items from hundreds of American artists at Guilford Art Center’s annual holiday gift shopping event, Holiday Expo 2024. Doors are open November 1 through January 5. The Shop and Gallery at Guilford Art Center are filled with holiday gifts from American artists and makers, many from CT and the shoreline area. Craft categories include accessories, candles, cards, ceramics, clothing, fiber art, glass, homewares, jewelry, leather, Christmas ornaments, soaps, specialty foods, stationery and more.
“Every item that we sell has been created by an artist, ensuring each gift is unique and special. We’re excited to offer an expanded selection of paintings and photography by New England artists” says Maureen Belden, Guilford Art Center’s Executive Director. “Shoppers should feel good in knowing that every gift they purchase supports an artist and the Guilford Art Center’s mission to bring arts to the community. It’s a gift that does so much good.”
New items are added to the show through Christmas, so visitors have a chance to nab new finds throughout the season. GAC offers visitors a variety of shopping experiences: personal shoppers are available for advice and gift-giving ideas; businesses can take advantage of personal shoppers and discounts for employee holiday gift-giving.
Proceeds benefit the exhibiting artists and Guilford Art Center’s educational and community programs.
Shopping hours start November 1: Monday through Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 12:00-5:00pm.
