FRIDAY NIGHT POTTERY SESSION A
Friday, April 19

Come and join the fun as we play with clay! In this relaxing one-night workshop, we will hand build and glaze a unique piece. Enjoy a creative night out with friends, make it a date night, or make new friends. You can come with an idea of what you want to make (like a bowl or vase), but the possibilities are also endless. FORGE A KITCHEN KNIFE WORKSHOP
Friday-Sunday, April 19-21

In this 3-day class, students will create a hand forged high carbon steel kitchen knife with a wooden handle. Forging, grinding and sharpening skills will be covered. Open to all levels. Fee payable with tuition $60. Tuition $525 Members $472.50

TRY YOUR HAND AT PAINTING & DRAWING WORKSHOP SESSION A

Geared towards the absolute adult beginner to come learn the basics of painting and drawing in a supportive, judgement-free session. Spend the morning in the GAC studios and learn about basic techniques, materials and approaches to working creatively in two dimensions. Come discover your creative potential! PARENT & CHILD MANDALA SESSION B: TREE OF LIFE

Enjoy a calm, relaxing activity together during this parent/child workshop. We will use paper and a variety of design pigments to paint beautiful mandala art. Embellish your designs with a variety of crafting materials and botanicals. We will listen to meditation music during the session. These shapes, forms and colors can evoke a deep sense of harmony, perception and inner peace. It’s a wonderful experience to have with your child. Tuition and material fee is per person. SILVER METAL CLAY II WORKSHOP
Sunday, April 21
1:00pm-4:00pm
Instructor: Nancy Karpel
Students will take designing pendants to the next level and learn techniques for forming and firing silver metal clay over supports for a three dimensional look. Techniques include doming, stacking, draping and forming and attaching pendant bales. Focus will be on perfecting dry finishing the metal clay pendants before firing. Flush stone settings can be used. Prerequisite: at least one other metal clay class. Materials fee approx. $100 (subject to change with the metals market) includes sufficient metal clay, tools, supplies and handouts to complete class project. Tuition $185 Members $166.50
