Her main public works are in Finland, but her art has found its way to private residences and art exhibitions around the world. Annukka has taught both hobby and professional students since 1988. Stained Glass, mosaics, painting, flame working, jewelry etc are in her range of techniques.

Cathy Cassar, Flirty Soap Co

Started by two sisters who are worried about the effects of chemicals on humans, the endless stream of plastic piling up in landfills and overflowing into the oceans, and the social/environmental costs of doing nothing to change the habits that are hurting humans and the Earth. Their all-natural liquid hand soap is a blissful blend of moisturizing oils, shea butter and aloe juice. It’s poured into eco-friendly glass bottles with labels you’ll fall in love with.

David Frank

David creates vessel form and functional pieces both thrown and hand-built in his shoreline studio. David holds a BA from Goddard College and studied at Wesleyan University. He teaches at Guilford Art Center, Creative Arts Workshop and Wesleyan Potters as well as in outreach programs in the Guilford and Madison school systems. Frank exhibits nationally.

Marsha Trattner, She-Weld, blacksmith

Marsha holds an MFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She teaches sculpture and metal working at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She also runs NYC’s only blacksmithing classes through her studio, She-Weld. Recent commissions include a banister for Designer Cynthia Rowley, litter baskets for the New York City Department of Sanitation, the bread display for Amy’s Bread, and the world’s first solar-powered chandelier, at Habana Outpost in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

Born into an artistic family dating back to the time of the Medici, Ricky Boscarino, aka: Ricky of Luna Parc, has continued the lineage of artistry and craftsmanship. His largest work in progress is his home and atelier Luna Parc, begun in 1989. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in 1982, Ricky continues to create whimsical, sophisticated work in a variety of media including metal, clay, glass, wood and cement.
