GAC Summer Kids & Teens Program Week #2
The Guilford Art Center Summer Youth Program is in full swing, with our young artists diving into another week of creativity, exploration, and making! There is still plenty of summer ahead and plenty of time to register your child for upcoming sessions through August 21. Kids can try new art forms, build confidence, and create lasting memories all summer long in a fun, supportive environment.

In celebration of the holiday, the school, shop and gallery will be closed July 3 & 4. We will re-open on Sunday, July 5, 12-5pm.
Donate Your Yard Odds and Ends
Do you have random bits of yarn that you are looking to re-home? We are accepting donations of yarn in – any fiber, color and thickness.
We plan to re-purpose it during a community-based activity at Craft Expo, led by GAC instructor Marsha Borden. Marsha will display a yarn installation, as well as lead an activity for attendees to create a handmade skein of yarn as a Craft Expo souvenir on Saturday, July 18, 11am-2pm.
Donations are accepted at GAC during our office hours Monday-Saturday, 10-4 and Sunday 12-4. Thank you!

Teen Volunteers Needed for Family Art Tent at Craft Expo
Guilford Art Center is seeking teen volunteers to help out at our Family Art Tent during Craft Expo, July 17-19, 2026. Help kids make art projects, earn community service hours, and enjoy this festive event. Sign up HERE.

In the The Gallery
Guilford Art Center Gallery presents Walking Each Other Home: Exploring Where We Belong, and How We Find It, a new exhibition featuring the work of 78 artists from Connecticut, the surrounding region, and beyond. Inspired by the beloved Ram Dass quote, “We’re all just walking each other home,” the exhibition invites artists to reflect on the many ways we experience and define the idea of home.
The Gallery is open 7 days a week, Mon-Sat 10am-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm.
