Students will learn the hand building methods of pinch, coil and slab. These versatile
methods can be used singly or in combination. Students will also utilize decorative
surface techniques such as carving, stamping and adding clay embellishments. Using the
potter’s wheel will also be taught. Glazing will enable students to add color and a smooth
surface to their work. There will be class projects as well as time for students to pursue
their own ideas. Fee payable with tuition $30.00
