Beginning students will learn to measure a warp, dress a four or eight-harness loom and draft basic patterns for weaving cloth. After completing a short sampler of traditional weave structures, they will plan, design and weave a project of their own choice with assistance from the instructor. More advanced students will be encouraged to either deepen their handweaving skills or try new methods as they complete their projects. Bench time available.
