Learn what all the buttons on your digital camera actually do. You’ll learn about things like white balance, depth of field, and shutter speed. We’ll discuss how to capture an image, ensure proper exposure, and create an effective composition. Fun weekly assignments coupled with in-class discussions will help you troubleshoot problems and develop a creative eye. Students should bring a digital camera with manual adjustment capacities (no phones). For storage and processing photos, students will need to have access to a personal computer.
