Painting Art Class at GAC

We all look up to the skies for a myriad of reasons; beauty, peace, despair, hope, inspiration, and so much more. In this workshop we will create many skyscapes to show mood, rhythm, beauty and color. Clouds are not flattened fluff; let’s show dimension by experiencing it with brush strokes. We can explore painting winter sunsets, stormy skies, and more. Your horizon line is just the beginning when we move on to create  powerful and active sky scenes. Demos will be given by the instructor. Students are encouraged to bring in photos from their phones or magazines for inspiration. The instructor will provide references as well.
