August is Make a Will Month
This month we focus on our legacy giving program. Should you consider leaving an estate gift to Guilford Art Center, you will become a member of our 1957 Legacy Society. Named for the Center’s founding year, the society recognizes visionary gifts from donors who wish to make a lasting gift.
We all know the importance of having a will to adequately and accurately distribute assets to loved ones and favored charities. While taking the step to create a will can be difficult for many people, there are resources that can help enable the process. Our friends at the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven have a wonderful blogpost on the topic.

Fall Semester Registration
Registration for all fall classes and workshops is open. Check out our catalog for the full list of offerings for adults, teens and kids. Register online soon so you don’t miss out – classes are filling up fast!
Financial Aid Available – Prospective GAC students are encouraged to apply for financial aid if it will better enable them to enroll in classes. The due date to apply for financial aid for the fall semester is September 8. Financial aid is available for adults and children based on need.
