Get ready to unleash your inner artist at a fall class or workshop at Guilford Art Center (GAC). All class offerings can be found in the new online catalog, which can be viewed and downloaded from www.guilfordartcenter.org.
Adults can explore beading, blacksmithing, ceramics, drawing, glass, metals, painting, sewing, weaving and more. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, there’s something for everyone.
Teens can try clay classes, blacksmithing, or join the Teen Art Club, which meets four times with a different craft theme at each session. Younger artists can dive into pottery, drawing, collage, comics and graphic novellas, puppetry, painting and the world of Harry Potter. There are also five new Halloween-themed workshops for kids, including Halloween Zines, magic art, mask-making, luminaries and themed paper toys.
“We’re so excited for this fall, with so many new classes and workshops to choose from—featuring fresh themes, talented new instructors, and a variety of crafts. It’s a wonderful time for people to return to the creative pursuits they love, or to try something completely new,” says GAC Executive Director Maureen Belden.
Registration is now open for all classes and workshops for adults, teens and youth.
Registration is online on the GAC website, or students can contact the GAC office at (203) 453-5947 or visit the GAC office in person (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm). Registration remains open throughout the semester.
