Guilford Art Center is actively seeking artists to submit work for an upcoming national juried gallery exhibition called Dear Mother,. This exhibit aims to present artworks which honor our relationship to the natural world through a variety of mediums and practices. This exhibition will explore and embrace our most ancient connections through one of our most human behaviors – artmaking.
GAC is seeking to display artworks incorporating natural elements or depicting natural scenes. It is up to the participating artist how loosely or literally to interpret this.
Adult artists are invited to submit two pieces via email to aseneco@guilfordartcenter.org by April 4, 2025. Works will be juried by our in-house exhibitions team and artists will be notified about selected works by Monday, April 14, 2025. The exhibit will be on display from May 2 – June 1, 2025.
