GAC Summer Kids & Teens Program Week #1
The Guilford Art Center Summer Youth Program is off to a creative start, with our first week of young artists exploring and making art together! There is still plenty of summer ahead and plenty of time to register your child for upcoming sessions through August 21. Kids can discover new skills, build confidence, and create all summer long in a fun, supportive environment.

Adult Summer Semester Begins
Our Adult Summer Semester is starting but there’s still time to get involved.
There are classes and workshops ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, leather, metals & jewelry, painting and photography that are still available for registration. But don’t delay – many of the classes begin in the next few days!

Volunteer for Craft Expo
Volunteer at Craft Expo and be part of one of Guilford’s most beloved summer traditions! By giving a few hours of your time, you’ll help support the Center while enjoying a fun and vibrant weekend filled with creativity.
Volunteers receive free admission to Craft Expo (all weekend!), the opportunity to meet artists from across the country, and a behind-the-scenes experience. It’s a great way to support the arts, connect with the community, and have a wonderful time!

Free Entry with GAC Membership
Do you know if you have a GAC membership you can get into Craft Expo FREE all 3 days? Make sure your membership is up to date before you go! Click HERE to either renew or purchase an individual or family membership.
Donate Your Yard Odds and Ends
Do you have random bits of yarn that you are looking to re-home? We are accepting donations of yarn in preparation for Craft Expo – any fiber, color and thickness. We plan to re-purpose it during a community-based activity at Craft Expo (July 17-19), led by GAC instructor Marsha Borden. Donations are accepted at GAC during our office hours Monday-Saturday, 10-4 and Sunday 12-4. Thank you!
The Shop at GAC
New arrivals in the Shop for kids!
We now carry some art supplies and art kits for kids, including pottery studios, friendship bracelets, art journals, crayons and more. These make perfect gifts for birthdays or to keep you young artists creative all summer!
The Shop is open 7 days a week
Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm
All GAC members receive 10% off all purchases.
GAC Membership Referral Program
During the month of June, GAC members can refer up to three friends (new members or those lapsed 2+ years) to join and enjoy all the benefits of membership.
Every member who submits a referral will be entered into prize drawings — and your friends will be entered too when they join!
