Patty Meglio

Painting/Drawing Instructor
Patty Meglio is a native Connecticut artist and writer. Her work is modern impressionist style using oils and watercolors, usually depicting country landscapes, seascapes, and still life. Patty instructs Drawing and Oil Painting at Hamden and Wallingford Adult Education, Guilford Art Center, and Artsplace as well as providing private instruction. During the COVID pandemic, Patty started writing a free weekly newsletter with articles on painting and drawing instruction and art history as a way to inspire and communicate. Her articles can be found on her blog, Pen ‘n Paint on Art and Writing. Patty has exhibited in numerous venues throughout the state of Connecticut and New Hampshire. Her work is held in private collections throughout the country. She is on the Hamden Art League Board of Directors and a member of the Madison Art Society.
