PEOPLE AND CITIES COLLAGES ON CARDBOARD: INSPIRED BY JACOB LAWRENCE
ages 5-10
Monday, February 20, 10am-12pm
Instructor: Jasmine Ahern
Join us to learn about American painter Jacob Lawrence, and create a colorful collage in his style. Lawrence is renowned for his depictions of everyday life as well as vibrant narratives of African American history, including his masterpiece The Migration Series. Students will hear a book, look at images, and use a variety of materials to create their own bustling, collaged cityscapes. Tuition: $35; Members: $31.50. Register Now

One more week to view the Faculty Exhibit! The GAC Faculty Exhibition is a multi-media exhibit includes ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber art, metals, and sculpture. The show runs through February 26. The gallery is open 7 days a week and always free to enter. Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm; Sunday 12-4pm. This exhibit runs through Feb. 26.
