Here Comes the Circus!
One week to go before everyone’s favorite clothing and accessories shopping event! On Thursday-Saturday, April 18-20, the GAC gallery space will be overflowing with fresh spring fashion from over 70 local, national and international designers. And the best part? It’s all at 50-90% below boutique prices. Designers Circus offers artful casual, work and special event clothing for women of all ages and sizes. Admission is free; all sales are final.

Special Interest Workshops Offer New Opportunities
Take a look at all the workshops offered under the “Special Interest” category for the spring semester. There is always something new and a little different for you to try. It’s an area where we can expand our offerings a bit with new themes and instructors; you’ll find everything from collage, to ecaustic, to handmade journals, watercolor, portraiture and much more.

Prose, poetry and books at Literary Open Mic Night
Thanks to all who attended our first Literary Open Mic Night! We had a full docket of participants who shared a wide range of literary creations. Special thanks to Julie Fitzpatrick, who kept things moving so smoothly as event MC. We also loved perusing the offerings of Bookish Babes and selecting the book based on clever descriptions of genre and plot. This event was extremely successful and we plan on having another one in the fall. Stay tuned for more information!
Support GAC during The Great Give
Celebrating its 15th year in 2024, The Great Give is returning on May 1-2. This 36-hr, online, community-wide giving event was created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to raise visibility and resources for nonprofits serving Greater New Haven.
