TERRIFYING PAPER TOYS HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP (KIDS ages 8+)
 Saturday, Oct 4, 1:00-3:00pm

 Get ready for some spooky, hands-on fun! In this workshop, kids will design and build their very own Halloween paper creatures—from creepy monsters to silly ghouls. Using both blank and pre-colored templates, young artists will draw, color, cut, and assemble 3D paper toys that are as frightful (or funny!) as they want them to be. Perfect for bringing a little handmade haunt into the Halloween season.
FORGING A TOMAHAWK WORKSHOP
 Saturday-Sunday, Oct 11-12
 10:00am-5:00pm
 Instructor: Aidan Garrity
 Learn the art of tomahawk-making as you forge your own using the slit-and-drift method. Along the way, you’ll see demos of other techniques, explore different styles, and cover everything from shaping and drifting the eye to fitting a handle, heat treating, and sharpening.
POTHOLDER WEAVING: LEARN THE TABBY WEAVE ON A PEG LOOM WORKSHOP
 Saturday, Oct 11,10:00am-1:00pm
 Instructor: Diane Villano
 Weave your own colorful cotton potholders using loops from a New England mill and a sturdy peg loom. Learn simple tabby weaving, explore fun patterns like herringbone and gingham, and pick your favorite color combinations. You’ll finish one potholder in class and take supplies home to complete another!
HALLOWEEN ZINES WORKSHOP (KIDS ages 8+)

 Create your own spooky mini-book! Write, draw, and design a Halloween story in zine form, then put it all together with fun art supplies. Everyone can join in – no experience needed!
SCULPTURAL MINI-BOOK WORKSHOP
 Sunday, Oct 12, 10:00am-2:00pm
 Instructor: Janice Baker
 Make a sculptural book using colorful printed papers you make yourself. Find beauty in nature and ordinary objects as we explore printmaking and patterning using ink,wax resist and paint.
