Free Drop-In Workshop for Middle School Students
Wednesday, Sept 24 and Wednesday, Oct 22, 1:15 – 3:15pm
Middle School students are welcome to drop to work on art projects for the afternoon. They can also do independent exploration with materials on hand. Adams Middle School students can walk or take Bus 24 to GAC. No need to register.
IN THE SHOP
Paper Collage Earrings! We carry a variety of designs of these paper collage earrings from artist Lauren Pollaro. Acrylic paintings and papers on museum board, glass beads, sterling silver wire and ear wires, finished with acrylic varnish. Approx. 1″ x .5″ The Shop at GAC is open 7 days a week. Monday – Saturday, 10am-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm. GAC members receive 10% off purchases.
IN THE GALLERY
The Guilford Art League welcomes exhibiting artists for its 77th Annual Juried Exhibit & Sale to be held in The Gallery at Guilford Art Center from September 8 – September 27, 2025. The show, juried by Laura Leonard, is open to Connecticut artists working in all media including oils, watercolor, pastels, acrylics, sculpture, collage, mixed media, printmaking, and photography. Several monetary prizes and notable awards will be announced at the Opening Reception on Friday, September 12, 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Gallery hours: Monday – Saturday, 10am-4pm, Sunday 12-4pm. Entry is free.
