The bowls are back! Guilford Art Center is happy to announce that its popular fundraiser, Soup for Good TO GO, is back this year and scheduled for Sunday, November 21. Guests can come to GAC and pick up a delicious meal “to go”, as well as select a handmade ceramic bowl created by GAC potters. All ticket holders will be entered into drawings for fun prizes as well.
Tickets are $40 and include a handmade bowl by GAC potters, a choice of 3 homemade soups, bread, a split of wine, and a sweet. Participants will also receive a discount coupon for The Shop at GAC and be entered into a prize drawing. Guests will pick up their soup and bread “to go” at GAC on Sunday, November 21 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
“We are thrilled that our potters are back in the studio this year and making pots for this event! People so enjoy selecting their own bowl and even collecting them over the years. This event remains one of GAC’s most important fundraisers, especially this year as so many have been cancelled. We hope the community will rally to support us, so GAC can continue to provide quality arts experiences to our community” says Maureen Belden, GAC Executive Director.
While at the Center, the public can go gift-shopping in the Holiday Shop, which will be open on Sunday, November 21 from 12:00 – 5:00 pm.
Tickets for Soup for Good TO GO are $40 per person and must be purchased by Wednesday, November 17. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Community Dining room, as well as Guilford Art Center.
