The Guilford Craft Expo Brings Fine Craft & Art to the Guilford Green

The Guilford Craft Expo is back and better than ever, showcasing the finest in contemporary and traditional craft by more than 170 acclaimed artists and makers. The three-day event, taking place July 14-16, 2023 on the Guilford Green, is one of the longest-running and renowned craft shows in the country.
For over 60 years, the Guilford Craft Expo has been an important event for artists to showcase their work and interact with the public, and for visitors to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces directly from the makers. This year’s event features fine craft in a variety of media, including Clay, Glass, Leather, Jewelry, Wearable Fiber, Fiber for the Home, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Wood. Plus gourmet foods and specialties!

Popular activities for the Guilford Craft Expo attendees include a Family Art Tent for young visitors, silent auction of exhibitor-donated work and sale of Guilford Art Center student work. Attendees can enjoy a snack or meal in the food court, which will also feature live musical entertainment throughout the weekend.
The Guilford Craft Expo is the Guilford Art Center’s single most important fundraiser, providing proceeds that support all of its educational and community programming.
The Guilford Craft Expo 2023 Hours: *NEW THIS YEAR* Friday, July 14, 10am-6pm; Saturday, July 15, 10am-6pm; Sunday, July 16, 12-5pm. Admission: Adults $10, Seniors (65+) $9, GAC members, children under 16, and active military FREE. Multi-day ticket $15. Cash and check only for admission.
The Guilford Craft Expo is held on the Guilford Green with the main entrance at 33 Whitfield St., Guilford CT 06437. The show is outdoors, rain or shine. Free parking and shuttle bus service is available at Exit 58 of I-95 at the commuter lots or Adams Middle School on Rt. 77 (233 Church St.).
