FIREPLACE TOOLS WORKSHOP
Saturday-Sunday January 28-29, 10:00am-4:00pm
Instructor: Greg AmEnde
Students in this class will make a set a fireplace tools (poker, brush, ash shovel). They will learn the basics of blacksmithing including tapering (drawing out), forge welding, bending, riveting and setting down. Fee payable with tuition $50. Tuition: $300; members $270

UPCYCLED COUTURE WORKSHOP: CUFF TO SLEEVE

Adding a ruffled cuff to a plain long sleeve T-shirt is an easy way to update your style. In this class students will used an improved approach to hand sewing to transform their T-shirts into layered, dimensional, on trend fashion. The goal is to harness the power of needle and thread, sew slow, forget about perfection, engage in radical act of slow sustainable fashion Fee payable with tuition $10. Tuition: $52; members $46.80.
