Registration is now open for all fall classes and workshops for adults, teens and youth. Classes will begin in September. Full catalogs can be downloaded from www.guilfordartcenter.org. Registration is online on the GAC website, or students can contact the GAC office at (203) 453-5947 or visit the GAC office in person (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm). Classes and workshops are available in a variety of mediums, including beading, blacksmithing, ceramics, collage, drawing, fiber arts, glass, leather, metalsmithing, painting, photography, sculpture, and weaving. Teen classes include blacksmithing and pottery. Youth and tween classes include pottery, cartooning, drawing, collage, Halloween crafts, fairy art, and mixed media. There are two parent and child workshops for ages 5 and up. “Art has a way of making our lives vibrant and exciting as we explore our own visions, and it connects us to others as we learn together. Our classroom environments are thriving as people return to the creative endeavors that they love, or have always wanted to try” says GAC Executive Director Maureen Belden.
