Ceramics Biennial 2024: A National Juried Exhibition
The Ceramics Biennial 2024: A National Juried Exhibition was hosted in the Gallery at Guilford Art Center from June 28 – August 4, 2024. This exhibition presented contemporary works in clay, both functional and non-functional, by over 40 American artists from across the nation. It represented a fascinating overview of the variety of ways ceramic artists further craft traditions, explore innovative approaches, and utilize this ancient medium for creating compelling new works.
The Ceramics Biennial 2024was juried by renowned ceramic artist Kathy King, who is an active studio artist in the Boston area and the Director of the Ceramics Program and Visual Arts Initiative at the Office for the Arts at Harvard.
