PAINTING WITH THE MASTERS IN WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

Explore several different masterworks, choose one or two paintings as a guide to re-create your compositions. We will learn the use of thumbnail sketches as a compositional tool and how breaking down the elements can help us decide placement in the picture plane. Students who wish to copy a master painting are welcome to do so, however, others who wish to move to the next level can do that with lots of extra information about creating compositions in their own paintings.
