We’re expanding our Weaving Program!
Thank you for helping us to reach more students.
We are thrilled to be launching an expansion of our popular weaving program so that we can welcome even more students to our fiber arts community.
This winter we are offering a brand new Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving class. While small sized, rigid heddle looms can be used to create wonderful projects such as scarves, table runners, placemats, and more.
We have a wonderful new instructor, Robert Aiudi, who has extensive historical knowledge and hands-on experience with weaving and will offer an inspiring creative experience. You can read more about Robert here.
To support this program, GAC purchased 8 new Schacht looms so that students have the proper equipment.The total cost is $1,500.
